Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD) Declared Winner Of Ikeja Local Government Chairmanship Election

In a momentous declaration that signals the dawn of a new chapter for Ikeja Local Government, the Returning Officer for the 2025 Local Government Elections has officially announced Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (popularly known as AKOD) as the duly elected Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Area.

 

According to the final results released from the collation centre, Comrade AKOD emerged victorious with a commanding total of 12,139 votes, a clear testament to the confidence reposed in him by the good people of Ikeja.

The result was greeted with jubilation across the wards and communities of Ikeja, as residents welcomed the outcome with joy and optimism.
