Delta 2022: Team Lagos Receive 10 Medals Boost From Boxing

Team Lagos got medals boost from boxing as the 21st National Sports Festival tagged Delta 2022 gradually moving to its climax on Saturday.

The finals of the boxing events which started on Thursday ended on a high for Team Lagos as the boxers raked in 10 medals, 3 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Idowu Mistura (F48kg), Ojo Joy (F57kg) and Gabriel Francis (M92kg) who all won gold medals. The silver medals came in from Saheed Abudllahi (M67kg), Adefemi Adeniji (M63.5kg), Kareem Shukurat (F54kg) and Oyesiji Adeola (F50kg), while Akanni Anuoluwapo (F60kg) and Omotayo Qudus (M60kg) won bronze medals.
