Engineer Mutiu Oladipu Gbajumo, President, Zumrarul Islamiyyah Society, Nigeria, on behalf of the Board of Trustees, the Executives and the entire members of Zumrarul Islamiyyah Society of Nigeria felicitated with all Muslims for the unique divine opportunity to participate in this year’s Eid-Kabir.

In a goodwill message to Islamic faithful in the country, a copy that was made available to P.M EXPREES on Monday, Engr. Gbajumo said: “We must all always put in mind the story referred to in the Holy Quran. This is perhaps the time for Muslims all over the world would want to remember but for the power ,the mercy and the mighty of the Almighty Allah, it becomes a time to be celebrated.

“The whole word is faced with one calamity or the other, from invisible Covid-19 virus to serious flooding and the menace of banditry, kidnapping and cruel killing innocent human beings by some criminals, some in the name of poorly understood religions.

“Our leaders must now focus on best ways to serve the people that will ensure good security, quality education, health and infrastructural facilities that will lift the welfare of the people in general.

:Only 600,000 Muslims in Saudi Arabia will be lucky to perform this year Hajj as against 2.5 Million pilgrims annually. A lesson for sober reflections on our prayers, way of worship, charity and repentance.

“If we all keep strictly to the guidelines issued by government to combat the pandemic, it could be wiped out in foreseeable future.”

“I again felicitate with all Muslims all over the world and pray that the Almighty accept our sacrifice as act of lbadah, forgive our sins, grant our supplications now and forever.

“Finally, my sincere appreciation to all members of our society in Nigeria and in diaspora for their support, commitment in ensuring that the society continuous to growth from strength in all the objectives especially in general, education and welfare of all citizens.”
