Ekiti Election, Labour Party’s Invisibility And The Funny Dream Of Merger

Results coming in from Ekiti show that Labour Party gets maximum of 3 votes from many polling units while scoring 0 in majority of voting centers. To cover shame for Saint Peter Obi Abubakar, his chief propagandists released false statements claiming that Labour doesn’t have a Candidate in the election.

Osun Election is also coming and as usual, ndị Obedients will claim that Labour Party doesn’t  have Candidate in the state. I don’t even know how a party dreaming of winning a presidential election will be shamelessly saying that it doesn’t have governorship candidates.

Any party contesting a Presidential election in Nigeria without having at least 5 State Governors as members must be in a malaria dream. Also a merger can only be frutiful if all parties involved have minimum of 10 governors and some federal legislators from different geopolitical zones as members. Therefore, the speculated merger of Labour Party and NNPP is a wild goose chase as non of them has even a sitting Governor or Federal Legislator as member. I don’t also see Kwankwaso dismantling his long time efforts to join a party that practically has no direction. He shouldn’t be stupid to embark on such political suicide mission.

Obedient compatriots should better stop having a dream that can never come to pass. Even our God is not a magician and he doesn’t reward unnecessarily. So, the earlier you guys understand that the 2023 Presidential Election will be between APC and PDP, the better for you.
