She may not play in the ongoing Nigerian Women Football League, NWFL but her current form is a threat to the opponents as Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens striker, Peace Ikediuba has confessed that she would prefer to start her professional career in the french women’s league.

The 2018 FIFA U-17 women’s world cup player who recently won the highest goal scorer award at the Ifeanyi chijiene football comepetition  held in Delta said her time has come to start her professional career in Europe.

“Presently i have reached the pinnacle of my career.I am hot and deadly in in terms of goal scoring.Recenly I won the highest goal scorer award at the Ifeanyi Chijiene Cup where i scored five goals.

“Aside this i always score for Eletu Queens once i feature for the club either in friendly or major competitions. My time has come to start my professional career in Europe but I prefer to play in french women’s league,”she said.

Asked why she was not interested in the local league, Ikediuba appreciated the Nigerian women’s league but insisted that she can only be better if she plays outside the country.

“I did not say i am better than those who are playing in the Nigerian women’s league but my mind is not in the local league.I have been in World Cup before and i saw a lot of things that can bring the best out of me,”she explained.

Commenting how her dream would come to reality, Ikediuba said presently she does not have manager but believed that her club chairman, Prince Kazeem Eletu can be of help to make her dream comes to reality.

“Of course i believe in my chairman. He is a father to us and always support his players who are doing well in the club.Who said he cannot help me.I will continue to play well and i am praying that one day God would answer my prayers,”,she said.

Asked again if she wants to feature in the super falcons in the nearest future, Ikediuba said it is prayer of every player to play for his or her fatherland and noted that she can only be invited to national team if her performance is impressive in her professional club side.

She however thanked her club chairman and coaching crew led by Damilare Jaiyeola for their contribution to her career saying that without God and club chairman, she may not realise her potential talent God deposited in her.
