Posted on August 22, 2021

In preparation for Flying Officer’s Cup scheduled to hold later in the year in Abuja, Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens would face a litmus test when they confront 2021 Aiteo runner up and a Lagos based premier club, FC Robo Queens on Wednesday morning at St Judes Primary School, Ilasamaja Road, Mushin, Lagos.

The friendly match was organized to prepare Eletu Queens for the Flying Officer’s Cup which attracts premier clubs and clubs from outside the country.

Head coach of Eletu Queens, Jaiyeola Damilare told our correspondent that they have started early preparation for the Flying Officer Cup saying that their friendly match against FC Robo Queens would bring the best out of his girls.

“Our friendly match against FC Robo Queens is not about defeating them but rather to use the match to prepare my girls for Flying Officer Cup. My girls are ready to face FC Robo Queens and learn one or two things from the game. It is going to be an interesting match because both teams would entertain the football fans in Mushin,” he said.

Asked if his team could shock FC Robo Queens at their home ground, Damilare said the friendly match was not organized to shock FC Robo Queens but to see how my girls could handle tough tam in Flying Officer Cup.

“Beating FC Robo Queens is good but I am not coming there to beat them but rather to learn more from FC Robo Queens. FC Robo Queens are playing in premier league so they have quality players to trouble us. But like I said the purpose of the friendly match is to prepare our girls for tough challenges,” he said.
