The General Overseer of Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, is in the news for the wrong reasons for allegedly deceiving his former member, Mr. Dike Atuenyi, and owing him about N100m with fake promises for 13 years in Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports as was exposed following a petition by the victim, Mr. Atuenyi to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2, Onikan, Lagos, over alleged threat to his life by Pastor Muoka for demanding his 13 years unpaid salaries.
The victim, Mr. Atuenyi, who has gone into hiding with the remaining members of his family, having lost his two grown up children under suspicious circumstances, alleged that he was receiving strange calls with hidden numbers, threatening to deal with him if he does not withdraw the case against Pastor Muoka because they already have his picture and residential address.
Mr. Atuenyi wrote a petition to the AIG, Zone 2, through the Ambassadors for Peace and Enlightenment Foundation, AMPEF, a human rights organization, and alleged that Pastor Muoka asked him to resign his appointment with the Lagos State Ministry of Transport to head the Church’s Transport Department with an appointment letter dated 10th June, 2009, with the promise to pay him twice of what he was being paid at the Lagos State Ministry of Transport.
His last salary was N350,000 per month and going by the agreement he had with Pastor Muoka to pay him double of the salary, he was to receive N700,000 every month from Muoka. But he did not receive a dime as salary for those years as Pastor Muoka never honoured his promise.
“Each time I asked for my salary, Pastor Muoka would cajole and deceive me  with promises of the great plans he has to establish me in a big way and that I should relax but cunningly refused to pay my salaries for those years until i left Lord’s Chosen in November, 2022.”
“Sometime in January, 2023, I was invited by Pastor Muoka following the intervention of Ambassadors for Peace and Enlightenment Foundation, AMPEF, a human rights organization, to make peace by settling our differences. But to my surprise, I received the most fearful and terrifying threats to life utterances from Pastor Lazarus Muoka. He told me repeatedly to make findings of Juliet’s whereabouts popularly known as One Man Mopol, a member of the church, who dared to challenge the authority of Lazarus Mouka on the account of unpaid services· This threat was established by Lazarus to further intimidate me into dropping my demands.”
“Pastor Muoka challenged me to take the matter anywhere that I will regret taking such a step and the conversation was captured on record.” he stated.
Mr. Atuenyi alleged that while he was still working with Pastor Muoka, he was involved in two ghastly accidents at different occasions and the two vehicles (A 4Matic Mercedes SUV and a Sienna), were destroyed beyond repair, which Pastor Muoka promised to replace but never did. And it was on that premise that Atuenyi is now demanding N100m and a replacement of his two vehicles from Pastor Muoka.
In the petition sighted by P.M.EXPRESS reporter, which was signed by Peter Odinakachukwu for AMPEF on behalf of Atuenyi, it made passionate appeal to the AIG at Zone 2 to use the force of the Law to ensure that Mouka is thoroughly investigated, and made to pay the money from June, 2009 to November, 2022 and to ensure no harm befalls Mr. Atuenyi.
However, Pastor Muoka snubbed the Nigerian Police and never appeared at Zone 2 despite several invitations and at the end the Police discharged the matter without investigating Pastor Muoka.
Efforts to contact Pastor Muoka over the alleged scam proved abortive as his known number was switched off.
