The residents of Ipaja, Alimosho Local Government area of Lagos are still in shock over the death of a 2-year old girl, who was reportedly dumped inside a hole with her head crushed with a big stone by an unknown person.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Police operatives from Ipaja Division led by CSP Tokunbo Aboniwonda uncovered the dastardly act on 30th July, 2020, at about 7.30am along Mosan Road in Mosan/Okunola Local Development Area, Alimosho, Lagos State.

The residents expressed surprise at what could have led to such cruel murder of the little girl found in the hole with a big stone on her head.
From all indications, the killer must have thrown the girl into the hole and smashed her head with the big stone at night as those living around the area said they did not see such the previous day.

A vulcanizer, who discovered the gory scene, said that when he closed shop the previous night, there was nothing in the hole, the reason he concluded that the perpetrators of the evil did so using the cover of darkness.

The residents of the Mosan Federal Estate, who saw what happened, reportedly contacted the Police who then visited the scene and subsequently contacted the Community Development Association (CDA) Chairman of the area to assist in the investigation that could help unravel those behind the mysterious killing of the little girl.

The DPO, CSP Aboniwonda, could not be reached when P.M.EXPRESS correspondent visited the area but a Police source said the Police have since commenced investigation in order to fish out those behind and bring them to book.
