Glamour, Glitz As BusyBee Event Business Summit 8.0 Ends In Colours

The 2024 edition of the BusyBee Excellence Awards themed ‘African Royalty’ held at The Monarch Event Centre in Lekki were filled with exceptional glitz, glamour and pageantry that thrilled members of the Well-Watered Garden Tribe (WWGT), other participants and guests.

The 2024 Gala Night, which closed off the annual three-day event, tagged BusyBee Excellence Awards lived up to the theme; “African Royalty.

At the event, participants were seen clad in some southern and northern African countries, traditional regalia, where both men and women appeared spectacular

The 2024 BusyBee Excellence Awards honoured Olori Sekinat Elegushi , Chief Mrs. Nike Davies-Okundaye of Nike Art Gallery and the trio Keke, D1 and ID of the popular Prime Time Television /Kennis Music for their outstanding and remarkable efforts towards advancing the African culture and entertainment industry in Nigeria.

It was a night of celebrations as members of the Well Watered Garden Tribe community (WWGT)were honoured for their efforts in promoting and advancing the event business in Nigeria.

Speaking on the 2024 event, Convener, BusyBee Event Business Summit, Coach Bisi Sotunde said, “It has been an amazing year, It is a good thing to celebrate oustanding heroes in the industry. I will say kudos to the planning committee for a wonderful job”.

Speaking further, the Head of Corporate Sponsorship, 2024 BusyBee Event Business Summit, Adeola Sessii- Traore said; “It is African Royalty and everything is glamorous. From Nigeria to South Africa to Ghana and the United Kingdom, we are fully represented. The atmosphere is charged for fun and networking.”

The night was also crowned with a milestone birthday celebration of the Convener of the BusyBee Event Business Summit, where her husband Q.S. Bolaji Sotunde serenade the celebrant with participants eulogizing her while Senior Pastor Poju Oyemade of Covenant Christian Centre prayed on her 40th birthday via a pre-recorded video

Thanking the sponsors and partners, Coach Sotunde spared a moment to appreciate brands and corporate organisations such as, Fidelity Bank PLC, Oyoyo Events App, Wakanow, E320 Associates and others for believing in the summit while calling on others to key in for the 2025 summit.

Founded in 2017, the BusyBee Event Business Summit has become a cornerstone for event professionals locally and internationally.

Over the past seven years, the summits have drawn diverse professionals, including event planners, designers, business leaders, and innovators, creating a platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and industry insights.

Our events have significantly impacted the growth and evolution of the event industry.
