Glo Sponsors 7th IGP Taekwondo Championship

Total telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom, has been announced as the telecommunications partner to the 7th annual Inspector General of Police Taekwando Championship competition scheduled to begin on Thursday, 26th July, 2018.

The Chairman, Nigeria Police Taekwando,  Superintendent of Police Stella Edikefe who announced this said about 300 athletes are expected to participate in the Championship which will be declared open by the Commandant of the Police College, Ikeja, Commissioner of Police Gbemisola Akinpelu on behalf of the Inspector General of Police. The Championship will hold at the Indoor Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos beginning from 9 am.

She announced that Accreditation , Weighing , “poomsae’’ and sparring had commenced adding that the Championship will start off with matches in the Under 15 categories while other categories will follow.

The 7th IGP Taekwondo Championship will come to an end on Saturday with presentation of trophies and medals to winners.
