Glo Takes CNN African Voices To Next Level With 3 Talented Artistes

Globacom, Nigeria’s leading telecoms company said this week’s edition of CNN African Voices will showcase exemplary performances of two artists and one photographer who are making waves across the continent and beyond.
The new edition would feature Johannesburg, South Africa-based Tumelo Mosaka, Gala Yousif from Khartoum, Sudan and Mauritius iconic photographer, Paul Choy.
Paul Choy will kick off the programme and he will showcase the people and the island of Mauritius through photographic lens.

According to him, “I never planned on becoming a photographer. It happened completely by accident. Ever since I was a small child, I always wanted to be an explorer, enjoying nothing better than just discovering something new. But what use is knowledge unless it is shared?”
The popular photographer explained that he carries cameras everywhere in order to capture the stories and immortalize images of people and places visited.
The second guest is Tumelo Mosaka, the popular curator who exhibits around the globe.
He will dwell extensively on contemporary African art.
Tumelo is known for exploring artistic productions especially from Africa, the Caribbeans and North America using themes such as racial injustice, migration and identity.
The last guest, is Sudan-born Galal Yousif.
The 32 year-old Yousif will speak on arts, sculpture and painting.
Speaking on his passion for arts, the Sudanese said “I draw to feel that I am doing a little change in my life. Even, if it is just a bit”.
CNN African Voices comes up on the Cable News Network, CNN, at 9.30 a.m. on Friday.
Repeat editions will be broadcast at 3.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. on Saturday and 11.30 a.m and 6.30 p.m. on Sunday.
Further repeats will be broadcast at 10.30 a.m. on Monday and 4.30 a.m. on Tuesday.
