Herbert Wigwe Honoured Posthumously At 12th AALBA

The legacy of Herbert Wigwe continues to inspire Africa’s business community.

Despite his passing, Wigwe’s transformative leadership and pioneering spirit earned him Africa’s most prestigious corporate award.

The 12th AALBA ceremony, held in Johannesburg, South Africa, recognised the late banker’s exemplary contributions to African business growth.

The esteemed judging panel, comprising African Business News network owners of CNBC and Forbes Africa, hailed Wigwe as a visionary leader.

Emeka Wigwe, Herbert’s brother, accepted the award on his behalf, flown in from Nigeria to honor his late sibling.

The event took place Thursday, 24 October 2024 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa

Herbert Wigwe’s award underscores his enduring impact on African business, cementing his legacy as a trailblazer.

The All African Business Leaders Awards (AALBA) celebrate visionary leadership, innovation and business excellence across Africa.
