Housewife Dumps Husband For Denying Her S*x

“Marriage is not only about food. A responsible man will need to also cater for the emotional needs of his wife. My husband has practically denied me sex in the marriage.”
P.M.EXPRESS reports that it was the submission of an embittered housewife, Mrs. Joy Abu, who filed a suit before the Court seeking for dissolution of her marriage to her husband, Daniel Abu, for denying her sex for the past one year in FCT, Abuja.
The embattled businesswoman, Mrs. Joy, filed the suit before the Customary Court in Nyanya, Abuja, and alleged her husband, Daniel, of being an irresponsible husband who had denied her sex without considering her emotional feelings in the marriage.
Mrs. Joy, who resides in the Jikwoyi area of Abuja, also told the Court that her husband does not care about her and their children and he can only provide food.
“My husband has practically denied me of my conjugal rights; he doesn’t care to know how I feel, he doesn’t know that marriage is not only about food. A responsible man will cater also for the emotional needs of his wife,”she said.
The petitioner stated that her husband does not provide for the family and had also abandoned them for one year. She prayed the Court to grant her divorce; the custody of the children and to compel her husband to pay N100,000 for the upkeep of their children every month.
However, the husband, Daniel, who was present in Court, denied all the allegations.
The Presiding Judge, Labaran Gusau, adjourned the matter till 30th March, 2023, for further hearing.
