Housewife Seeks To Divorce Husband For Denying Her Sx 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the embittered Ojoma, who resides at Jikwoyi area of Abuja, alleged that her husband does not care how she feels by denying her of “conjugal rights”, thus she wants to quit the marriage and move on with her life.

The embattled housewife also accused her husband of domestic violence and that he no longer cared about her and their only child hence she was no longer in love with him because of the pain he had caused her in the marriage.

“My husband has practically denied me my conjugal rights; he doesn’t care to know how I feel, or what my needs are in that aspect. I have also suffered repeated physical abuse and violence from Thomas, including blows, slaps, being locked out of the house and so on despite the fact that he denied her sex” she said.

The petitioner told the Court that her husband does not provide for the family and there was no need to continue with the marriage and prayed the Court to grant her divorce; the custody of their only child and compel her husband to pay N50,000 for the upkeep of their child every month.

However, in response,Thomas, who was present in Court, denied all the allegations and told the Court that he never knew she wanted to have sex and urged the Court to resolve the matter because he still loves her.

The Presiding Judge, Doocivir Yawe, having listened to the parties, adjourned the matter till 16th February, 2023, for  continuation of hearing.
