A 28-year old man, Larry Rowland, has landed in trouble in Lagos State after he allegedly lured a 15-year old girl into sex romp by sucking her breasts, getting her confused and unable to resist the act in the process.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Segun Matanmi Street, Akesan area of Lagos, where they reside.
The suspect was alleged to have taken the girl away from the custody of her parents, sexually touched her breasts by sucking them and in the process engaged her in sex defiling her in the process.

The girl was said to have become confused after the suspect, Rowland had seduced her by sucking her. He then slept with her in the process but she later realized herself and raised alarm that she was raped because he did it without her consent.

The matter was reported to the Police and the suspect, Rowland, was arrested by the operatives from the Igando Division and detained for interrogation over his conduct.

In the course of interrogation, he admitted to have slept with her but with her consent and as such he did not defile her. But the girl insisted that she was raped because he lured her into it without her consent.

The Police found Rowland culpable because the victim is still a minor and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

When he was arraigned, the Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor,  DSP Kehinde Ajayi, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

The Presiding Magistrate,  Mrs. E. Kubeinje, ordered his remand in correctional center pending when the DPP’s report will be ready and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.

The matter was adjourned till 7th June, 2022, for report of the DPP to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
