How Sacked Staff, 27, Disguised As Beggar & Sneaked Into Company To Steal

A 27-year old man, Moses Adeniyi, has been arrested in Lagos State for disguising as a beggar and sneaking into the company that had sacked him in order to steal and he was caught in the act. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Panda Event Complex located at Commercial Avenue, Sabo, Yaba area of Lagos, where he was formerly employed by the management.
According to the Police, the suspect had worked in the complex but was later sacked, which did not go down well with him and he planned to revenge over his sack.
He was alleged to have disguised as a beggar, gained access into the complex and stole a Samsung phone with the Sim card belonging to one Okafor Ifeanyi.
However, he ran out of luck as he was caught while stealing the phone and he tried to escape.
The management eventually discovered that he was a sacked company worker and handed over to the Police at Sabo Division for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
During interrogation, he reportedly admitted to have done so because the company sacked him and he decided to act as a beggar asking for alms to enable him enter there and steal from the company.
The Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Yaba Magistrates Court for the alleged stealing.
He pleaded guilty when he was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Supol Thomas Nurudeen, then asked the Court to give a short adjournment in order to present the facts of the matter to enable the Court to sentence him accordingly.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E. Nwaka, ordered his remand in custody at the Correctional Centre pending when the facts of the matter will be presented before Court so that he will be sentenced accordingly under the Criminal Laws of the State.
