HP Releases The Power Of AI To Propel Innovation At GITEX AFRICA 2024

HP Inc is participating in the 2024 GITEX AFRICA, the continent’s largest tech and startup event, which enters its second edition this year.

HP’s new innovations in personal systems, gaming, printing, and hybrid working solutions perfectly align with this year’s theme, “Creating a bold future for Africa” in the pan-African event which aims to accelerate the development of new tech communities by uniting global leaders, disruptive technologies, and start-ups to drive Africa’s innovation-driven future.

As hybrid work increases worldwide, Quorica’s global research on the future of work shows that remote work is expected to grow from 36% to 44% by 2025. Workers in emerging economies appear more open to AI: 76% of knowledge workers believe AI will make their job easier, and 75% think it will make their job more enjoyable, compared to 48% and 44% in developed economies.

The Work Relationship Index also highlights that business leaders are spearheading the integration of AI into business processes as it can be a catalyst for business transformation.

More than 40% of employees are unsure about the use of AI and do not have the knowledge to leverage its potential; The majority of business leaders and knowledge workers support education and advanced knowledge. Many employees see AI as a way to make work more fun and easier, giving them access to the right AI tools, training, and technology they need to succeed.
