Inter House Sports:Blue House Emerge Winner At AR-RAZAQ International Sch In Lagos

It was a celebration galore after Blue house were declared an overall winner at the just concluded 9th Inter House Sport fiesta of AR-RAZAQ International Schools.

The biannual inter house sport fiesta which held at Anwar Ul Islam Girl High School, Ojokoro saw four houses battled for honours.

Blue and Green house gave their best in a keenly contested sport fiesta watched by parents, guardians and staff and management of the school.

In the final results released by the sports officers, Blue house had 13 gold, 6 silver and 14 bronze to emerge as overall winner.Green house occupied the second position with 13 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze.

Pink house emerged third position with 7 gold,13 silver and 3 bronze, while yellow house maintained fourth position with 3 gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze.

Speaking with our correspondent, proprietor of AR-RAZAQ International Schools, Khaleephat Ismail Animashaun Ashile expressed satisfaction with the performances of the houses saying that this year’s edition had lived up to expectations.

“Let me say this year’s edition is better in term of attendance, the venue and solid preparations of the houses.All the houses did well but i will particularly congratulate the blue house who emerged as overall winner and their victory was well deserved,”he said.

In her own comment, Director of studies, Alhaja Risikat Mubarak thanked Allah for the success of the sport fiesta and commended the participating houses for the job well done.

She said the biannual inter house sports had given ample opportunity to some students to showcase their God given talents and urged the parents and guardians to allow their children involve in sporting activities both home and school.

She particularly admonished the state government to create more sports centres to allow some private schools to use the facilities instead of paying huge amount to secure a place from individuals.
