Iyaloja General United, Samjason Renew Rivalry In Alimosho League

Samjason Football Club would face uphill task as they face Iyaloja General United Football IGU on Saturday in the week 21 Alimosho Football Coaches Council League.
The much anticipated match would hold at the home ground of Iyaloja General United by 4pm at the Igando Community High School, Igando, Lagos.
When both teams first met in the league, it ended in one goal apiece at the Samjason home and a draw for Iyaloja General United would push them forward on the table.
On the other hands, Samjason cannot afford to lose against Samjason. According to the table released by the organisers, Samjason are still in the fourth position with 31 point. A victory for the visiting team would give them slim hope to defend the title won last year irrespective of other results in other centres .
Failure for Samjason to get three point against the home team would be a huge disappointment not only the players but also to the coaching crew and management as their chance to win the league would be hang in the balance.
Iyaloja General United coach, Mohammed Abarejo is aware of the task ahead saying that the match could go either way. He said the match would be tough for both teams but noted that better side would carry the day.
“We are preparing for them. It is a match everybody wants to watch. When we first played them in their home it ended in draw. Although I was not around but report got to me that my coaches and players did well so I expect them to repeat that feat again. Like I said anybody can win because both teams have equal chance to win,” said Abarejo who promised their opponents tough game.
