Jilted Man Docked Over Threat To Upload Girlfriend’s Nude Pictures On Social Media

A jilted man, Ralph Ugbenyor, has landed in trouble in Lagos State after he sent nude pictures of his estranged girlfriend, Happiness Ihuwaeze and threatened to upload them on the social media for dumping him. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports the 32-year old Ugbenyor has been arrested and charged to Court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.
The incident happened at Ibiwole Street, Ago Okota area of Lagos, where the defendant resides.
According to Police sources, the lady, Happiness, dumped Ugbenyor after they had a disagreement, which did not go down well with him. But unknown to her,  while they were having sex, the defendant took her nude pictures and kept them.
It was when the lady, Happiness, decided to quit the relationship that Ugbenyor sent the pictures to her, threatening to upload them on the social media for the public to see.
She became worried and reported the matter before the Ago Okota Police Division. The defendant was then arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Isolo Magistrate Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment.
However, he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Peter, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Kashanu, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and addresses verified.
The matter was adjourned while the defendant was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
