JOF All Stars All Stars Tackle Odegbami Football Academy In Friendly Tie

The 2025 JOF All Stars Team, Lagos, will lock horns with Segun Odegbami Football Academy’s U-13 team in a thrilling football match Friday afternoon at 2 pm at the Segun Odegbami Football Academy pitch in Wasimi town, Ogun State.

This first leg marks the opening match for the JOF All Stars, with the second leg scheduled to take place in Lagos at a later date.

The Segun Odegbami Football Academy team, renowned for their tactical prowess, comprises talented pupils from the academy who train daily with the goal of excelling.

This friendly match promises to showcase the skills, athleticism, and teamwork of both teams, promoting youth development and sports engagement.

Mr. Adeyinka Adetunji, Managing Director, Transport Division at JOF Nigeria Limited, believes this weekend’s match will be an entertaining spectacle for fans and sports enthusiasts. Notably, JOF Nigeria Limited, a leading manufacturing and supply chain services company, has partnered with the Lagos State Grassroots Football Association to promote football sports since 2020.

The annual football tournament, targeting -13 football players in Lagos, admits sponsorship to competitions between football clubs in the state, featuring over 76 youth football clubs. At the end of each competition, two sets of teams are selected to form the JOF All Stars, which participates in interstate football matches and undergoes educational, leadership, and football seminars, workshops, lectures, and training sessions.

According to Dr. Olusegun Olugboyegun, the executive Chairman of JOF Nigeria Limited, “Our interest is to give back to society and help shape the lives of our children through football as a profession, hobby, and source of happiness for individuals and the nation.”
