Operatives from the Anambra State Police Command have successfully apprehended a 34-year-old man, Nwokpoku Emmanuel, for his alleged involvement in kidnapping and armed robbery. The suspect’s arrest comes after he and his gang members collected a N15m ransom from their victim.

According to the State Police Spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, the suspect, Emmanuel, was taken into custody after a thorough investigation, which led to the recovery of the kidnapped victim’s red Mercedes Benz GLE 450. The vehicle was tracked and recovered at MCC Junction in Onitsha.

Thank you for the gallantry. How about the kidnapped victim and paid ransom? Abakaliki people of Ebonyi state are the problem we have in the south east. They are always into various criminal activities across the zone.
