Candidates who are contesting for one position or the other in Lagos State Football Coaches Association elections are advised to prepare their manifesto speeches in readiness for next month election.

The manifesto day would hold on 24, September, Friday by 10 am at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

Chairman Electoral Committee, Suraju Alao in a statement said the committee has concluded all arrangements to organize the manifesto day event where all the 13 candidates would address their colleagues on the plans they have for the associations if they are elected.

”I want to inform all the candidates to get ready for the manifesto day and it is an avenue for the candidates to address their electorates what they have for this noble association if they are elected. Any candidate who fails to show off would be sanctioned accordingly.

“I am using this opportunity to urge the candidates to prepare their speech and ensure that they bring not less than five people along with them to the venue because we don’t want much crowd and we want to observe COVID-19 protocol,” he said.

Alao said he would not condone any act of indiscipline and warned the candidates to caution their fans to remain calm and shun any form of violence during or after the programme.

“Any candidate whose supporters misbehave during or after the programme would be disqualified with immediate effect,” The statement said.

Alao however commended the outgoing executive members of the Lagos State Football Coaches Association led by Fredrick Yamala for the job well done in the last few years and promised that the electoral committee headed by humble self would conduct a free and fair election.

The candidates that are contesting for LSFCA elections are the following: David Oluwasegun Apelete Dosu, Ifenayichukwu Ikpo Moses, Thairu Hassan, Bishop Olorunimbe Rafiu, Steven Seyon, Adejare Moses, Charles Benaibi, and Emmanuel Bassey.
