Live EPL Matches On GOtv: Chelsea, Southampton Light Up Stamford Bridge This Weekend

Posted on October 17, 2020

Football fans will be treated to two exciting Premier League games this weekend. The games will be broadcast live on SuperSport Football (Channel 31), exclusive to GOtv Jolli and Max customers.

The Premier League returns after an international break as Chelsea plays host to Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 17 October, 2020. The game kicks off at 3:00pm and will be aired live on SuperSport Football.

The blues have impressed so far in previous games by claiming victories against Brighton and Crystal Palace. Another victory this weekend from Chelsea will certainly see the team securing back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time this season.

Meanwhile, Southampton, started slowly but have repeatedly gathered wins prior to the international break after seeing off Burnley and West Brom. We are excited to see which team will be able to secure three points on Saturday, as it will mean an automatic boost for the coming weeks.

A fierce football rivalry will be rekindled on Sunday in Premier League when Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace clash at the Selhurst Park live on GOtv. The match will be aired on SuperSport Football at 2:00pm.

The Seagulls have recorded 35 wins over the Eagles but the last time the two teams met in the Premier League, Palace came out on top when a 70mins strike from Jordan Ayew sealed a narrow 1-0 victory at the Amex Stadium last February while in December, the game ended in a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park. Neal Maupay opened the scoring for the Albion but Wilfried Zaha levelled at 76mins.
