Madu- Obi Reiterates Commitment To Sponsorship Of Ramadan Cup

 Director of Evergreen Groups Limited, Iyke Madu- Obi has expressed interest to sponsor this year’s Ramadan Football Competition scheduled to hold in April at Igando Palace Playground, Alimosho, Lagos.

 The Chairman Organizing Committee, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi has confirmed that Madu –Obi who has been sponsoring the competition in the last few years had promised to sponsor this year’s edition and urged interested clubs to come for their registration forms.

“We are preparing for Ramadan Cup. Our sponsor, Chief Iyk Madu- Obi has promised to sponsor this year’s edition and I am happy to announce to the interested clubs that this year’s edition will be better in terms of prize money and other gift items that will give out to the outstanding players.

” I am urging the club owners to come for their registration forms before it is too late. Presently clubs are making enquiries but they are yet to show commitment and once we have seen 16 clubs, we will fix the date for the draw ceremony and other things involved,” he said.

Gbadamosi noted that only 16 teams are expected to take part in the championship which will attract football agents from within and outside Nigeria.

He said opportunity would be given to all teams across Lagos state saying that any club fail to purchase their registration form at the stipulated time will not be accommodated.
