Mainland U-15 Tourney Enters Semi Final Stage

The ongoing U-15 Sulaiman Hamidi Mainland football competition has reached the semi final stage at the Ojoniyu Sports Centre, Oyigbo, Yaba, Lagos.

The competition which involved various football academies in Mainland local government which commenced some months ago would come to a close on Saturday as organizers promised to stage a colourful closing ceremony.

In the semi final fixtures released on Monday, Super Soccer battle Right FA, while Living Legend tackle on Bright FA. The two matches would hold on Thursday.

Chairman Organising Committee, AdeniyiWasiu Adekola urged the semi finalists to play the game according to the rules and regulations. He said any team violates the rules would be sanctioned accordingly.

“We are looking forward to the semi final matches. All the four academies have pote3ntial to play in the final. We want all the teams to shun any form of social vices that can bring the tourney into disrepute. If we found any team wanting, we would not only sanction such academies but ban them from participating in any Mainland football competition,” he said.
