A 37-year old man, Saheed Adisa, has been arrested in Lagos State for allegedly brutalizing a female LASTMA officer, Salami Bukola, over attempts to seduce her by touching her breasts in the public.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened under the bridge at Ikeja area of Lagos, where Bukola went to perform her lawful duty and was accosted by Adisa, who allegedly assaulted her.
It was not confirmed if there was any previous relationship between the suspect, Adisa and Bukola before the incident happened.
The Police alleged that the man, Adisa, accosted the female officer, Bukola and indecently assaulted her by touching her breasts, which she resisted and it led to an altercation between the duo and in the process, he beat her up mercilessly.
The alleged assault was reported to the Police at Man Center Division; Adisa was trailed and arrested. He was detained for inflicting injury on Bukola while she was performing her lawful duty over indecent assault by touching her breast, which led to Adisa beating her with fist blows and injuring her nose.

He pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Inspector Innocent Odugbo, then asked the Court to give a short adjournment for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence against the LASTMA officer.
