Man, 41, Docked For Inserting Finger Into Private Part Of Neighbour’s Girl, 7

A 41-year old man, Nbanyan Paul, a.k.a Dogo, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly defiling his neighbour’s 7-year old girl by inserting his finger into her private part in order to satisfy his sexual desires at an uncompleted building. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at an uncompleted building located at Aribaniwa Phase 2 of Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos, where they reside.
The Police alleged that the suspect lured the victim to the place and engaged her in the dastardly act by removing her pants and Inserting his finger into her private part.
However, he was accosted over the act  following the revelation by the victim and the matter was reported to the Police at Elemoro Division.
 He was then arrested and transferred to the Gender Section of the State Command for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
After rounds of interrogation, the Police found him culpable and consequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court.
The Police prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice because of the seriousness of the offence allegedly committed.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Layinka, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.
The matter was adjourned for mention for the DPP’s report to be made available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction for trial.
