Man, 62, Docked For Fondling Breasts Of Girl, 13

A 62-year old man, Joseph Adeboye has landed in trouble in Lagos State after he allegedly attempted to seduce a 13-year old girl by fondling her breasts in order to lure her into sex. 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the girl resisted his moves, raised alarm for sexual molestation and he was arrested.

The incident happened at Adeboye Joseph Close, Obadore area of Lagos, where they reside. 

The Police alleged the man to have lured the girl to his apartment, harassed her sexually by touching her breasts in order to lure her into a sex romp. 

However, the girl exposed him and the matter was reported to the Police in the area and he was arrested. He was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Command for interrogation over the act. 

After thorough interrogation, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for indecent assault.

When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty before the Court. 

The prosecutor, Supol Bisi Ogunleye, asked the Court to give a date for hearing to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence. 

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje, granted him bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum. 

He was remanded in custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions while the matter was adjourned till 25th May, 2022, for mention.
