The union between Saheed and his wife, Sekinat, has collapsed in Oyo State after the wife denied him sex and insisted that he must use condom if at all she would consider him to touch her.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the angry husband, Saheed, has filed a suit before the Customary Court in Ibadan seeking for the dissolution of their marriage and it was granted by the Court due to  marital discord and irreconcilable differences between the couple.
The husband filed the suit and asked Court to dissolve the marriage on the  allegations of lack of love and irresponsible behaviour against his wife,  Sekinat.
In the suit brought before the Grade A Customary Court in Ibadan, Oyo State, Saheed accused his wife, Sekinat, of denying him affection, refusing intimacy, and engaging in wasteful habits.
An embattled Saheed lamented before the Court of Sekinat’s apparent coldness and lack of interest in their relationship. He gave instances where she withheld intimacy and insisted on using condoms during rare occasions of consent, which he found unreasonable.
He also alleged the wife, Sekinat, of extravagant cooking habits, which he believed contributed to their financial condition in the marriage.
Sekinat, in response, accused Saheed of neglecting his responsibilities towards their family and resorting to violence when denied intimacy. She also gave instances of alleged physical abuse and expressed her desire for custody of their children, citing concerns for their safety and well-being.
In her judgment, Mrs. S.M. Akintayo, acknowledged the breakdown of the couple’s relationship and granted their request for divorce. Sekinat was awarded custody of their children, with Saheed ordered to provide for their welfare.
Both parties were urged to maintain peace as they move forward separately.
They were reminded of the importance of civility and cooperation for the sake of their children’s future as they embark on separate paths.
