Massive Turn Out At Hon. Kasunmu’s Football Talents Screening Centre

The exercise was scheduled to start by 7am but as early as 6.30am the venue was already populated by enthusiastic youths who came from different locations to showcase their talents.
The trials and screening were done in batches with officials of JE9 Sports Logistics taking notes and identifying skilful talents among the lads.
Various football afficionados such as the former Sole Administrator of Ikeja Local Government, Engr. Abiodun Taiwo and others were at the trial ground with their boys to partake in the screening.
Interestingly, one of Engr. Taiwo’s boys, known as Akinwale Temitope from Adesina Street, Ikeja Ward B, was among those shortlisted for the next stage of the trials.
In a brief chat with the media shortly after the session, Adesina expressed “appreciation to Hon. Kasunmu and JE 9 Sports Logistics for the opportunity to showcase my skills. I’m also grateful for being among those shortlisted. I look forward to the next stage of the trials, I’m confident that I will make it to Europe”, he said.
Also speaking to the media, a Nigerian operative of JE9 Sport Logistics, Coach Femi Joseph “commended the boys and urged other interested youth to find their way to the venue and take advantage of the opportunity made available by Hon. Kasunmu to move their careers to the next level”, stating that it is an open and transparent trial.
The next screening session comes up on Wednesday 21st June, 2023, at the Police College, Ikeja. Time is 7am.
