Suddenly, a new entrant into the Nigeria’s highlife music genre and entertainment industry has eventually found his voice and space despite the ever competitive  industry. 
The rave of the moment, Umunnakwe K.O.P known by his stage name as  Allowance Umunnakwe, who is believed to be a true reincarnate of the late highlife music legend, Chief Sir Dr. Morroco Maduka, has left no one in doubt that he is the chosen one to sustain the legacy of the late highlife music icon, who died on the 29th October, 2020, at the age of 73 years and was buried on April 8, 2021.
Born on the 6th September, 1988, into the blessed family of Hon. Elias. N.Umunnakwe Ugorji Obidike from Umudaragwu Umuokwe, Awo-Omamma, Oru East LGA, Imo State, Nigeria. With his brand of highlife music genre, Allowance Umunnakwe, who pulls crowd at his shows and live performances is qualified to be called a music maestro in the industry having proven his stage crafts  in the number of recorded songs which are already making impact and tearing the airwaves with promises of a greater hold on the future.
In this exclusive interview, the highlife music maestro – Allowance Umunnakwe reveals the secret behind his passion for a career in music, his staying power and inspiration drawn from the late highlife music legend, Dr. Morroco Maduka.
When asked the driving force behind his music career and choice over his profession as a trained Architect; he revealed that it was God in the first place who implanted the calling in him as he was born with three major talents of music, football and architecture. While his father, Hon.Elias N. Umunnakwe, had wanted him to pursue a career in the field of Architecture, he had to look inwardly for his passion, calling and what he had love for, which is music. Good a thing, he is currently making waves with his irresistible songs that appeal to the soul of his audience with the expected moral lessons therein.
However, one thing is to produce a song;  another is for the song to appeal to the public and gain acceptability in the market and among the business and political class. With a highly impressive  inroad into Anambra State and South East, Allowance Umunnakwe has established himself in the Highlife music genre with the following songs:
• Ubasinachi
•Dike Nú Na Mba
•Iyierioba Na Israel
•Ako Na Uche
•Tribute to late Morroco Maduka; a song which got him acceptability by the Ekpili music fans around the world, thus, the perception that the late Highlife music icon , Morroco Maduka, was his father. While Iyierioba Na Israel; a song  dedicated to Igbo businessmen living in Israel strategically positioned him in the diaspora with relative support he currently enjoys.
Opening up on early challenges, successes recorded so far and the path he had charted for future exploits in the industry, the young highlife music maestro, Allowance Umunnakwe, admitted that building capacity, assembling the right team in his band group and like-minds who shared  same passion and vision with him was quite disturbing until God provided the right people and instruments through the assistance of destiny helpers who believed in his talent and music career like:
