MIIA Wraps 2025 With A Bang: Third Free Online Training Holds This October
The Media Integrity Initiative Africa (MIIA) has announced the schedule and faculty for its third quarterly free online training programme, set to hold on Saturday 11th and Saturday 18th October 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (WAT) via Google Meet.
The training, which has consistently attracted professionals from across the continent, will feature four rich modules delivered by respected industry experts.

Understanding & Reporting the Economy & Finance
Facilitator: Marcel Okeke – former Chief Economist at Zenith Bank Plc; Editor of the defunct Business Concord; ex-Business Editor at The Punch; now CEO of Mascot Consult & Communication Ltd.

Public Relations and Organisational Competitiveness
Facilitator: Johnson Onime – former Executive Director (Corporate & Public Affairs) at Daar Communications PLC; currently Principal Consultant at Intense Concepts & Associates Ltd.
