In her address, she will share insights on crafting narratives that resonate across cultures, appealing to both local and global audiences.
“We are thrilled to have Mo Abudu as our keynote speaker,” said Dr. Shaibu Husseini, executive director of NFVCB.
“Her dedication to advancing African stories and her commitment to excellence in the industry makes her a perfect choice for this conference.”
The event will also feature the minister of arts, culture, tourism and the creative economy, Hannatu Musawa, who will declare the conference open as the chief host.
Husseini noted, “The minister’s attendance, a first for the Nigeria Digital Content Conference, highlights the government’s commitment to fostering growth in the creative sector.”
The two-day conference, supported by partners including Google, Netflix, Brickwall Communications and the Film Distributors Association of Nigeria (FIDAN), will include panel discussions and breakout sessions focused on the theme of digital content regulation in Nigeria.
Established in 2020, the conference aims to unite stakeholders in Nigeria’s film and digital content industry to address the challenges and opportunities in digital content regulation.
