Matthew ‘M.R’ Reed To Premieres New Stage Play “I REMEMBER”

Rising Musician and Stage Play Writer/Director Matthew ‘M.R’ Reed has announced a date for the release of his newest production titled ‘I REMEMBER’

The stage play which was written, produced and directed by M.R is an inspirational piece about a young Lady named Molly Jenkins who takes us back in time on her battles with her past while overcoming daily obstacles of trying to become successful.

Matthew shows the lead, Molly suffering physical abuse from her biological mother, to nursing her adopted mother who later finds out she has Alzheimer’s.

The story shows that not all families are related by blood, explores and the support and love family can give with her adopted family ‘The Jenkins’.

It also introduces us to the patriarch who they refer to The Living Ancestor “Grandpa Jenkins”.

The script delves in the power of having faith in God knowing everything will turns around for the better.

This play was produced by M.Reed Studio Productions and will premiere at the Revelation Church Of Jesus Christ LA auditorium on June 12.

It will also be showing in his home state of Chicago on June 19, 2021. M.Reed Studio Productions is a Theater Production Company based in Chicago, IL.

M.R says he also wrote, composed & arranged the theme music for the play and is currently making plans for the play to tour 6 cities across the US.

Matthew ‘M.R’ Reed was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theater from the University of Arkansas.
