N.O Idowu Foundation Donates Inverters To UCH, COMUI

The Nathaniel Idowu Foundation on September 11th, 2025, donated and commissioned an alternative power supply system to the Departments of Surgery, Otolaryngology, Opthalmology and DPRAS, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan and University College Hospital, Ibadan. 

Professor Bunmi Olaopa, Head of Surgery Department and the facilitator of the donation stated that the alternative power supply system comprises a solar inverter 15KW with 17.6 KW Panel and 44 lithium batteries.

The representative of the Foundation, Chief Yemi Idowu, in his remark stated that the Foundation is particularly interested in adding values to hospital and to make work easier and more productive for the hospital.

The Chief Medical Director (CMD), Prof Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, represented by the Deputy Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (Clinical Services) Prof. Olusola Olawoye acknowledged the donation, while expressing deep gratitude to the donors.

The CMD further called on other well-meaning Nigerians to look into ways in which they can give back to the society.
