The Lagos male hockey team led the medal table at the just concluded Southwest States Zonal Elimination held in Ibadan, Oyo State between 1-3 September, 2021.
P.M. EXPRESS reports that five of the six states in the southwest participated in the female hockey at the zonal elimination. The states are Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Ekiti and Osun States.
Team Lagos won a total of 10 points in four games to top the table, while Teams Ondo and Oyo followed with 6 points each to pick second and third positions respectively.
