Nigeria Top Celebrities Gather For The Macallan Sherry Oak Launch In Lagos

Some of the country’s biggest stars gathered at the Mantra Restaurant and Lounge, VI, Lagos, on Friday, to celebrate with world-renowned Scotch whisky brand, The Macallan, as its Sherry Oak 25 & 30 Years Old arrived in Nigeria.

Only 35 selected guests from the business circles and the entertainment scene including ex-BBNaija star Prince Nelson, media personality, Moet Abebe; renowned fashion designer, Mai Atafo; Nigeria TV host, Bolanle Olukanni etc., were hosted on a sensorial journey.

As the evening began, guests walked in through ornate traditional Arabian doors and stepped into The Macallan’s timelapse while surrounded by antique European-Asian furniture, intricate wall designs, and earthy tones.

Anticipation for the unveiling of the time-honoured whiskies heightened as cocktails and canapes flowed in the room.

The excitement then reached a climax as the Sherry Oak 25 and 30 YO whiskies were presented in an exquisite whisky-tasting session steered by the brand ambassadors – Adeyinka Adepetun and Daniel Atteh.

The night was made even more memorable with a sensational performance by Aituaje ‘Waje’ Iruobe.

The singer’s distinct melodies thrilled the guests as they savoured every sip, seamlessly complementing the excellent craftsmanship synonymous with the Scotch brand.

Amid the quality music, the guests mingled effortlessly, forming connections and displaying exceptional whisky knowledge.

As glasses clinked and conversations flowed throughout the evening, it was evident that this was another experience that would last in the memories of the attendees for years to come.

Mai Atafo said: “Every moment of my time here was absolutely enchanting. I relished the delightful blend of soul-stirring music, delectable cuisine, and the company of great people. The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 YO was the highlight of my night.”

The Macallan has reaffirmed its position as a pioneer in the world of whisky, pushing boundaries and setting benchmarks for what a truly remarkable whisky soirée can be.

The Scotch whisky brand had previously unveiled its M Collection and Harmony Collection Inspired by Intense Arabica in Nigeria as part of its dedication to sharing its legacy of exceptional craftsmanship and taste with whisky lovers in the country.
