NLO 2021: Buruj FC Acknowledges Receipts Of 50% Covid-19 FIFA Palliative Relief Fund

The management of Buruj Football Club, a registered team of the Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO), has confirmed the receipt of fifty percent FIFA Covid-19 Palliative fund, which amounts to Eighty Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighteen Naira Ninety Five kobo only (N80,718.95).

The Club CEO, Dr Waheed Buruj, while acknowledging the receipts of the fund, gave kudos to the Chief Operation Officer of the League, Sola Omole, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the football governing body, FIFA, for a good move towards raising a befitting standard for football in Nigeria, which will catch the eyes of investors.

He posited that a formidable policy needs to be put in place to foster the growth and development of Nigerian Football, where investors have good returns in the quote of their investments.
