Noah Abolaji Salaudeen Grabs The Spotlight Despite Fortūna Draw

Posted on June 6, 2025

In a gripping encounter under the evening skies at the LFF Kaunas Training Center Stadium, Buruj FC graduate, Noah Abolaji Salaudeen, once again proved why he remains a name to watch in the Lithuanian football scene.

The young forward delivered a spirited performance for VJFM Fortūna as they fought to a 1–1 draw against FK Atmosfera B in Round 9 of the 2025 LFF II Lyga B Division.

Noah Abolaji Salaudeen was a constant threat throughout the match, bringing energy, creativity, and sharp movement to Fortūna’s attack.

His highlight moment came in the second half when he found the back of the net, only to see the goal ruled out for offside.

The visitors, FK Atmosfera B, broke the deadlock in the 44th minute.

A well-worked team move saw Lawrence Shimave Ugen finish clinically, following a clever build-up involving Vakaris Pakštas and Rokas Petrauskas.

It was a well-earned lead going into halftime, with Atmosfera looking composed in possession.

However, Fortūna came out stronger in the second half, pressing higher and creating more chances. Their persistence paid off in the 76th minute when Justas Česnavičius calmly converted from the spot to level the score after a handball incident in the box.

Tensions rose in the final minutes as both teams searched for a winner. FK Atmosfera B’s Arnas Andriejauskas received a yellow card in the 83rd minute, a sign of the mounting pressure on the pitch.

Despite both sides pushing forward in the dying minutes, the game ended in a well-fought 1–1 draw.

Referee Mindaugas Minevičius officiated the match with support from assistant referees Lukas Mečionis and Faustė Šimkutė.

While the result leaves both sides with shared points, Noah Abolaji Salaudeen’s commanding display did not go unnoticed.

The former Buruj FC star continues to adapt seamlessly to European football.

With another big performance on the day, it is a matter of time bigger clubs will sign him away as he continues to turn heads and post impressive performances week in week out.
