Nollywood Actress, Moji Olaiya Dies At 42

Nollywood has yet been thrown into mourning mood again as talented crossover actress, Moji Olaiya is dead.

The actress, who delivered a baby two months ago and had the child dedication days ago, died from an unconfirmed birth complication issues in Canada late Wednesday.

The cause of her death is yet to be ascertained as at press time.

Her death was coming on the trail of the demise of other Nollywood veterans, Olumide Bakare and Pastor Ajidara who are yet to be buried.

In a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday, the actress, who converted to Islam in 2014, expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life.

“Alliamdulilahi to you Allah I give all the glory for all you have done. I will forever praise and worship you. It’s not by power but the Grace of Allah. Thank you for the gift of life. Thanks also to all my friends and family my fans for your supports and prayers. Love you all.”

The actress, who parted ways with her husband but later found a new love who melt her heart and got pregnant without the knowledge of many except for few people who kept her secret well for her until she welcomed her baby two months back.

Moji came to limelight through one of Wale Adenuga’s hit TV Series, Super Story, where she delivered a phenomenon role.

She was described as a very humble and professional actress.

The Ekiti State-born deceased is the daughter of Highlife music icon, Dr. Victor Olaiya and was succeeded by two children, a teenage daughter, Adun and her two months old baby.
