Ogene Ogbunike a.k.a Ogene Global, the glamour of your condolence visit to the Osile Village, family home of Ogbuefi Elo Gwacham, Ezeudo Ogbunike, was overwhelming.
That visit depicted love and compassion, It is a very significant part of our tradition and culture to show empathy to the berieved, and you did that in grand style, with tremendous impact.
It demonstrates that if every citizen of Ogbunike diligently performs in his area of ability and competence, our community will be better for it.
Let the citizen who is well-versed in our tradition and culture and who has invested heavily in our cultural revival be duly acclaimed and rewarded.

Let the citizen who is well-schooled in the vagaries of partisan politics and has the capacity to continue to deliver, be rewarded by the institution of politics, while those who have invested in the civil/public service be rewarded by same.
And those who have not made any significant impact in our community, should be encouraged to work harder and pray to GOD for more of HIS grace.

Our people say that “ekelu olu eke”.
Our great political sage, The Rt Hon Dr Chuba Okadigbo, once stated that one of the most disruptive issues in the society is what he called the unsavoury attitude of “ewelu ewelukwa”.
The “Oyi of Oyi” strictly stayed in the line of politics, and achieved greatness in his time. He was a renowned traditionalist, who never politicised the Igbo traditional institution. Ogene remains the iconic promoter of Igbo culture and tradition, one who has invested hugely in that regard.
