Ohanaeze Ndigbo Congratulates Gov Sanwo-Olu On Reelection Victory

The President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, has congratulated the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his second term election victory.
P.M.EXPRESS reports as stated by Chief Ogbonna Aguene at the Ohanaeze Secretariat located at James Robinson Street, Surulere area of Lagos, during interaction with journalists.
He stated that the victory of Sanwo-Olu was well deserved because of his good performance and leadership qualities.
He explained that Ndigbo were happy to be part of the success of his reelection by voting massively for him because of the good relationship he had with the Igbo in Lagos State.
Chief Aguene stated that he knew that Sanwo-Olu will win the election with landslide victory because every Igbo in Lagos know that he is performer and that was why the Igbo came out enmass to vote for him.
He also stated that Governor Sanwo-Olu is very popular to the extent that if he even vies to be President, majority of Nigerians will still vote for him especially the Igbo who love him so much.
On his expectation on his second tenure, Aguene stated that he will continue to perform even better through his infrastructure projects and good leadership, which he has consistently built upon since 2019 when he was first elected the Governor of Lagos State.
He stated that Ndigbo in Lagos State will give him every support he needs and will continue on the good relationship they have built over the years.
He thanked Sanwo-Olu for his support for Ndigbo in Lagos and his administration as the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State, stressing that efforts by some disgruntled Igbo elements to destroy his relationship with Sanwo-Olu was rebuffed.
“Ndigbo are major players in Lagos State in the economy, infrastructural development and otherwise. We will continue to partner with the Lagos State Government in the bid to continue with the giant strides in order to make the State a mega city indeed” Chief Aguene said.
