The administration of Hon Segun Odunmbaku in Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, has embarked on an extensive desilting exercise and comprehensive reconstruction of drainages at Ogba to complement the ongoing rehabilitation by the Lagos State Government opposite Area G Police Station and Nigerian Institute of Journalism.

Entire scope of project entails desilting and evacuation of refuse and solid waste materials from drainages at Mokuolu Street, Abiodun Jagun Street and Ogunnusi Road by the Council’s Department Of Environment and Sanitation Services before a massive culvert and drainage reconstruction project across and alongside both sides of the road by the Works Department that would extend from Area G Police Station to Excellence Hotel.

This project by Ojodu LCDA would support the State Government’s intervention and establish an efficient drainage system around the axis to ensure a more durable infrastructure once the culverts, drainages and road rehabilitation is completed.
