Ojodu LCDA Kicks Off 2024 With Prayer Session

Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, commenced the new year, 2024, with a solemn prayer gathering led by the Executive Chairman, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku.

The Executive Committee Members, Legislators, Management Team, and all staff members participated in the spiritual event.

The prayer session included supplications by both Islamic and Christian clerics seeking divine guidance and blessings for the year ahead.

Hon. Odunmbaku, drawing inspiration from Romans 3:22-23, encouraged the staff to approach their work with heightened zeal, productivity, and dedication. He also announced the council’s plan to support the staff with a token of Twenty Thousand Naira Only (N20,000) per month for a duration of six months, which was met with joyful jubilation from the staff.

In his address, Hon. Odunmbaku emphasized the importance of regular medical check-ups to maintain a healthy lifestyle. He assured the staff that the mini-staff clinic is available to attend to their medical needs at all times.

During the prayer meeting, the Council Manager, Mrs. Olubunmi Akitoye, expressed gratitude to the Executive Chairman for his unwavering support and commitment to staff welfare. Comrade Jaiyeola Bolaji, the NULGE Chairman, echoed her sentiments.

Dignitaries present at the event included the Vice Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, Alhaja Stella Kokumo (APC Chairman, Ojodu LCDA), the SLG, Hon. Olaide John Bello, Hon. Olalekan Peter, Supervisors, Special Advisers, Management Staff, and other members of the staff.
