Uprising fuji artist, Saheed Olajide and his band will thrill guests at this year’s Ogun Ajobo festival.

The festival is an annual event celebrated by Oodua People’s Congress, OPC and this year’s event will be a two-day festival and will be held between 30 and 31 July, at the FESTAC link bridge by Raji Rasaki, Amuwo Odofin, Local Government Area, AOLG, Lagos State.

According to the Coordinator of the group in Mile-2, Raufu Adeleke, plans are in top gear to make the event a huge success. He noted that it is not solely about merriment, as prayers would also be offered,

“Ogun Ajobo” is not about winning and dinning alone because we would be offering prayers against the restiveness in the country, the Covid-19 scourge that has been ravaging the world and others.”

Adeleke assured guests coming for the event of maximum security. In the words of Adeleke: “As a security outfit and a custodian of the Yoruba culture and interest, we the organising team are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that guests and properties would be taken care off, I can assure them all.”
