Olowolekomoh Lauds WaterAid Over Odo-Nla Health Centre, Water Projects

Oba-Elect of Odo-Nla kingdom, Lagos, Prince Olusoga Elias Adeyemi Olowolekomoh (Fuwagbade IV) has showered praises on world acclaimed charity organisation, WaterAid for the renovation and equipping of Odo-Nla health centre with state-of-the-art equipment as well as provision of clean water to the people of the community.
The commissioning of the projects was held last week at Odo-Nla.
In his address, Olowolekomoh described the efforts of WaterAid as a “thing of joy” even as he commended the charity organisation for choosing Odo-Nla to carry out the projects.
“It is with immense joy and a deep sense of fulfilment that I stand before you today to celebrate the commissioning of this extraordinary Health Centre, a remarkable achievement made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Odo-Nla Washcom Committee and WaterAid, a globally recognized charity organization.”
The businessman and philanthropist said “WaterAid’s unwavering commitment to improving public health services, particularly across Africa, has had a profound impact, and we are proud to be a part of this transformative initiative. Their support has been instrumental in making this dream a reality for our community,” Olowolekomoh said even as he expressed his sincere gratitude to the “dedicated executives and members of the Washcom Committee. Your tireless efforts, your unwavering passion, and your commitment to the betterment of our community are truly commendable. I cannot overstate the significance of your hard work, and we are all deeply grateful for your leadership and service.”
“As we celebrate this achievement”, Olowolekomoh said, “I reaffirm my personal commitment to supporting the Washcom Committee in its mission. In this regard, I hereby donate the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only (₦250,000.00) here and now. Furthermore, I will continue to offer modest financial contributions and steadfast support to ensure the continued success of this committee and its initiatives. Together, through the collaboration of both local and international organizations, we are turning our collective aspirations into tangible and lasting outcomes.”
The Oba-elect of Odo Nla is optimistic that collaborative efforts such as the WaterAid’s would bring more development to the land.
“Our shared efforts to improve the lives of the people of Odo-Nla Kingdom will continue to bring forth success stories such as this, to the glory of God, by His grace and infinite mercies.”

“No man is an island. We all need each other to grow just like the popular saying of “we rise by lifting others”, so I am using this opportunity to call on different charity organisations such as WaterAid to come and partner with Odo Nla people. And like Oliver Twist who wanted some more, we are also appealing to WaterAid not to limit their development efforts in Odo-Nla to these two wonderful projects which we deeply appreciate, Odo-Nla people, need more from WaterAid. In his address, Mr. Adeniran Ogunbanwo (JP), Chairman, CDC, Ikorodu North LCDA, thanked WaterAid for the projects. “We are deeply grateful to Wateraid for their unwavering commitment and dedication to providing clean water and sanitation to Odo Nla community and it’s environ. This laudable water project has brought about positive changes in the community and brought about better life for all. This renovated public health centre equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment will no doubt enhance our health care service delivery and improve the quality of care provided to the residents of Odo-Nla. It is a testament to the power of collaboration and collaborative efforts.”
He called on all to ensure that the equipment are maintained to ensure the efforts of Wateraid does not go in vain.
