Ondo 2024: Oke Said To Have Received Tinubu’s Endorsement

Posted on April 19, 2024
In what could be described as a shock and dramatic turn out of events, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may have endorsed the candidacy of Chief Olusola Oke (SAN) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primaries set to hold tomorrow across the 18 Local Government and 203 Wards in the South Western state.
President Tinubu had hitherto maintained obvious distance in who becomes the Party’s flag-bearer in the forthcoming November poll. Feelers from the Presidency indicated that barring any last minute changes, the incumbent Governor, Lucky Aiyédatiwa, contrary to the propaganda his team continues to turn out of a purported endorsement from the Presidency, Mr. President was said to have opted for Chief Olusola Oke (SAN) as the better aspirant to emerge as APC’s candidate.
According to the source, the party needs a candidate that can deliver the votes with no stress across the length and breadth of Ondo State.
