Organisers Set To Unveil 2021 Ifako Ijaiye Games Logo And Website

Attention would be shifted to Ifako-Ijaiye Local Council tomorrow as organizers are set to unveil the 2021 Ifako-Ijaiye Games logo and website.

In a statement issued to our correspondent, the managing director of The Meade Company, Dolapo Macaulay said that Ifako-Ijaiye website is necessary for those who want to know more about the games and other necessary information concerning the council.

On the logo, Macaulay said it is very important for Ifako-Ijaiye Games to have a logo which symbolizes what the council stands for.

“We are looking forward to unveiling the Ifako-Ijaiye logo and website. The council boss, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat and other staff are aware of this unveiling ceremony and it is going to be a colourful event because it is the unveiling ceremony the council chairman would tell us the importance of the games to the public,” he said.

Macaulay noted that the games is an ideology of the council boss who has a focus in youth-oriented leadership and he is ready to use sports to create more employment opportunities for the youths in Ifako-Ijaiye area and its environs.

In order to have a successful Ifako Games, a committee was set up headed by Shakiru Bababunmi popularly known as Shabund.

Bababunmi told journalists that the Ifako-Ijaiye Games would be organised to bring back the glory of sports to Ifako- Ijaiye and its environs urging the participants to use the sporting activities to foster friendliness, unity and love among themselves.

Bello Omtunde who is also a member of the committee said the Games would bring the best out of the participants noted that the best participants would be selected and represent the council in the future Lagos state sports festival.

Meanwhile, the council boss has partnered with The Meade Company Limited to ensure that the forthcoming Ifako-Ijaiye Games records a huge success.

Ifako-Ijaiye Games is a yearly event that involves three major sporting activities such as football, basketball and virtual soccer championship.
