Osun, Enough of Dance: Let’s Get To Work!!!

Governance is not a stage performance. It is not about optics, theatrics, or viral moments. It is about vision, discipline, and measurable progress. Sadly, under the administration of Ademola Adeleke, Osun State has witnessed more drama than direction. While leadership demands focus on infrastructure, economic expansion, education reform, and job creation, what Osun people have largely received are distractions dressed as achievements.

Across the state, critical sectors cry for urgent attention. Our roads require sustainable rehabilitation, our schools need structured investment, our health institutions demand modernization, and our civil service deserves stability and clear policy direction. Investors are attracted by policy consistency and economic clarity not uncertainty and populist optics. Governance must move from performance to performance metrics. Osun cannot afford to gamble its future on style over substance.

This is why the emergence of Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress represents a timely and strategic opportunity for Osun’s rebirth. Asiwaju Oyebamiji brings administrative competence, financial expertise, and institutional experience to the table. His track record reflects structure, prudence, and an understanding of how to align state policy with federal opportunities. Osun needs a technocrat who understands budgeting, revenue expansion, and sustainable development, not someone carried away by applause.

The APC’s philosophy emphasizes economic discipline, infrastructural expansion, and integration with federal development programmes. With alignment at the national level, Osun stands to benefit from stronger collaboration, better access to intervention funds, and coordinated development strategies. Politics should ultimately serve the people and that service must be practical, not performative.

Osun deserves leadership that wakes up thinking about industry, agriculture, youth employment, digital innovation, and security, not choreography. The future of our children cannot be anchored on vibes; it must be built on viable policies.

Osun, enough of dance. It is time to get to work. And with Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji and the APC, that work can truly begin.
